Maintenance of various types of fixed equipment and machinery such as, but not limited to, towers, heaters, furnaces, vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, water treatment plant, marine and crude loading arms, pipes, pipe fittings, valves and firefighting system including regular monitoring and rectification of defective equipment’s, disassembly, repair and reassemble of these equipment’s taking into consideration of safety rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Qatar Energy technicians for the daily routine maintenance work such as checking of flanges, valves, valve leakages and replace packing.
• Carry out daily maintenance work for valves inside and outside workshop.
• Carry out disassembly of pipeline from Site and perform erection/installation work after repairing it.
• Carry out routine maintenance work of steam boiler including hydraulic testing.
• Participate in major overhaul and annual plant shutdown for the whole Refinery equipment.
• Use of hydro-jetting machines to carry out cleaning work for heat exchangers, air coolers, towers and vessels, etc.
• Carryout cleaning work for all types of equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Industrial Diploma Certificate or twelve (12) years of school education.

Experience: Minimum of Five (5) years relevant practical experience in maintenance and repair of the refinery equipment.

Age Limit: Not over the age of Forty-Five (45) years.
