Responsible in handling, Controlling and planning construction project and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner and while evaluating Key Performance Indicators.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists; hire full-time and part-time subcontractors and laborers and coordinate their schedules.
- Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions.
- Provide directions to general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors when doing groundwork to ensure that quality standards are being met.
- Monitor planned activities that are happening in a sequential manner.
- Managing & controlling all activities from the beginning up to the completion of projects.
- Attending project meetings, inquires with the current and potential clients for business development.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
- Monitoring the production schedule to ensure on time project completion.
- Projects coordination with the factory, sites and clients.
- Provider leadership and guidance whenever it is required.
- Review the work progress on daily basis.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Educate the team whenever it seems that the empower it requires.
- Attend Trainings and Awareness.
Qualifications & Experience
Education Qualifications: Graduate in Civil Engineering, preferably in Architectural background.
Professional Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience, probably in construction/fit-out work.
Licenses /Certifications: Having a PMP certificate would be an added advantage.
Competencies:
- Understanding the technical aspects and construction aspects of the job.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules and regulations and quality standards
- Familiarity with construction management software packages
