At The English Modern School, the journey of educational excellence is a continuous one, not just for our students but for our educators as well. An Impressive success of a recent milestone on that journey: a two-day Professional Development workshop hosted right here at our school, in collaboration with the prestigious Cambridge Training Centre.
The workshop was specifically tailored for the Cambridge IGCSE™ Arabic (7180) 2025 and 2026-28 Syllabus, providing an in-depth look at the latest curriculum updates and expectations.
A Hub for Collaborative Learning
The two days were more than just a training session; they were a dynamic forum for collaboration and shared growth. Our dedicated educators were joined by teachers from other leading British schools, creating a rich tapestry of experience and perspective.
Together, they delved into:
- Innovative Teaching Methodologies to make Arabic language learning more engaging and effective.
- Advanced Assessment Strategies to accurately measure student progress and empower them to achieve their full potential.
- Practical Classroom Applications for the new syllabus requirements.
This collaborative environment fostered deep, meaningful discussions on how best to inspire and equip the next generation of Arabic language students.

Looking Ahead: A Commitment to Excellence
“We extend our sincere gratitude to the Cambridge Training Centre for their partnership and to all the passionate educators who contributed to such a productive event”.
The insights and strategies gained are already being woven into our lesson plans and teaching approaches. We are immensely excited to implement these fresh ideas, confident that they will further enrich our students’ learning experience and continue our tradition of delivering exceptional education.
The workshop has reinforced our commitment to not only following best practices but also actively contributing to the broader educational community. Here’s to empowering our students with the gift of language and a love for learning!
