At Fun First Nursery, we strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment where each child is valued as an individual with different needs and expectations. Developmental milestones and advancement will be achieved through structured and planned activities, where children can learn through play using first-hand experience. Our staff are well-qualified Early Years Practitioners with pediatric first aid and child protection training.
Whether you are looking to return to work, moving into a new area, or you just want your child to have fun-filled days of activities and make lots of little friends, then come to Fun First nursery!
Our lovely nursery is located in the affluent area of West Bay in Doha, Qatar, and overlooks the Katara Cultural Village. We are also within close proximity to The Pearl and West Bay's diplomatic and business areas.
The Nursery’s premises and environment comprises indoor and outdoor equipment and facilities that allow children to have a fun-filled learning experience. Some of the features at the nursery are:

Curriculum
Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum as promulgated by the Ministry for Education in England and Wales. The Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is based on four themes:
- The Unique Child
- Positive Relationships
- Enabling Environments
- Learning and Development
Each theme is linked to an important principle:
- The Unique Child - Every child is a competent learner from birth within the strictures of their own capabilities, and all have the ability to be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured.
- Positive Relationships - Children learn to be strong and independent from a base of loving and secure relationships with parents and/or a key person.
- Enabling Environments - The environment plays a key role in supporting and extending a child's development and learning.
- Learning and Development - Children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates, and all areas of learning and development are equally important and inter-connected.

Homeroom Groups:
'Homeroom' groups are 'peer group' classes at Fun First Nursery. Although all children develop at different rates, no one can expect a broadly similar level of development within a similar age range, and the homeroom groups at Fun First Nursery take advantage of this fact. The teacher, classroom assistant and helper in each instance will be experienced in dealing with children of that specific age group and will be able to cater for their specific level of development. Divisions for homeroom groups are:
